Sam is the co-founder of The Health Hub and an experienced Chiropractor with over 15 years in clinical practice. He graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic at the University of Glamorgan, where he was awarded the prestigious Award for Clinical Excellence, given to the top clinician of the graduating year.

Sam is passionate about helping patients not only overcome pain but truly understand the root cause of their symptoms. He uses the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) to assess movement patterns and identify underlying dysfunctions—ensuring treatment is targeted, effective, and tailored to each individual’s needs.

As a FICS-accredited Sports Chiropractor, Sam is highly experienced in working with both amateur and professional athletes across a variety of sports. He is also a certified TPI M2 Golf Specialist Chiropractor, which allows him to assess and treat golfing injuries, as well as help golfers improve their performance and movement efficiency on the course.

While Sam treats a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, he finds working with patients suffering from back pain particularly rewarding. A keen sportsman himself, he also enjoys supporting active individuals in achieving their personal best—whether that means recovering from injury or optimising physical performance.

Dedicated to ongoing learning, Sam regularly attends postgraduate training and remains committed to using the most current, evidence-based techniques to deliver outstanding care.

Jodie is Co-Founder of The Health Hub in Haywards Heath and a highly experienced Chartered Physiotherapist with over 20 years in NHS and private practice. She leads our specialist Women’s Health Physiotherapy service, supporting women through pregnancy, postnatal recovery and long-term pelvic health.

Jodie has a particular clinical focus on antenatal and postnatal physiotherapy, pelvic floor rehabilitation, diastasis recti assessment, and C-section scar treatment using RESTORE Scar therapy. She combines hands-on physiotherapy with tailored rehabilitation plans to help women feel strong, confident and in control of their bodies.

Trained in APPI Clinical Pilates, Jodie integrates clinically guided Pilates into her treatment programmes to support safe return to exercise, running and sport. She also uses diagnostic ultrasound scanning to assess deep core activation and optimise recovery.

Having studied in Australia and worked alongside leading sports physiotherapists, Jodie brings a holistic, movement-focused approach to every patient she sees, delivering expert, evidence-based care for women across Haywards Heath and Mid Sussex.

Lachlan is a highly experienced Registered Osteopath with over 20 years of clinical practice. He graduated from the European School of Osteopathy in Maidstone, Kent—an institution known for its comprehensive and holistic approach to osteopathic training.

Over the years, Lachlan has treated a wide variety of patients, from office workers and athletes to individuals managing long-term musculoskeletal conditions. He spent seven years working alongside Sam at The Heeler Centre in Hassocks before becoming one of the founding therapists at The Health Hub. His approach is rooted in providing personalised, hands-on care to patients of all ages.

Known for his calm and considered manner, Lachlan blends manual techniques with tailored advice on movement, posture, and rehabilitation. He has a particular interest in the relationship between structural balance and functional performance – helping patients move with ease, recover from injuries, and prevent future issues.

Before becoming an osteopath, Lachlan worked as a professional musician and vocal coach. This unique background gives him a deep understanding of the physical demands placed on performers, especially in relation to breathing, jaw and neck tension, and upper body posture.

Annabelle is a fully qualified Registered Osteopath, having completed her Master of Osteopathy degree at the International College of Osteopathic Medicine in Epsom, Surrey. With a strong foundation in manual therapy, she also brings years of previous experience as a sports massage therapist to her practice.

Committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-informed care, Annabelle is a keen advocate of continued learning. She regularly attends professional development courses and holds additional qualifications in dry needling/medical acupuncture, therapeutic ultrasound, and dry cupping—allowing her to tailor treatment plans that suit each patient’s needs and recovery goals.

Before becoming an osteopath, Annabelle was an enthusiastic amateur athlete and a regular osteopathy patient herself. First-hand experience of the benefits of treatment inspired her to pursue a career helping others overcome pain and injury through movement and manual therapy.

Kirk is a dedicated Chartered Physiotherapist who retrained following a successful career in the finance sector, graduating from the University of Brighton. He has since built a strong clinical reputation for his thorough, evidence-based approach and is also qualified in medical acupuncture.

With a personal passion for health and fitness—including CrossFit and cricket—Kirk brings both clinical expertise and real-world insight to his work. He treats a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions, with a particular interest in helping patients manage chronic low back pain and nerve-related symptoms, including those caused by spinal disc herniations.

Kirk also has specialist experience in post-operative rehabilitation, particularly following knee and hip surgeries, as well as injuries to the knee, ankle, and shoulder. He uses a tailored combination of techniques including soft tissue therapy, acupuncture, and exercise-based rehab, focusing not just on relieving pain but on restoring function and helping patients return to the activities they enjoy most.

Kirk is recognised by several major private healthcare providers, including AXA, AVIVA, Simply Health, WPA, Westfield, and bhsf.

Martin is a Chartered Physiotherapist with extensive experience in both private practice and elite sport. After completing a degree in Sport and Exercise Science in Liverpool, he went on to qualify in Physiotherapy at the University of Brighton. His early experience in musculoskeletal outpatient care laid the foundation for his passion for rehabilitation and patient-centred recovery.

Martin has a strong clinical interest in knee injuries, particularly ACL rehabilitation and return-to-sport planning. He continues to work with the Brighton & Hove Albion Under-23s, where he plays an active role in the assessment, treatment, and performance management of developing professional athletes. This ongoing involvement in elite football has sharpened his understanding of high-level rehab and the demands of returning to sport both physically and mentally.

Corinna is a Chartered Physiotherapist with a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Southampton, building on her earlier qualification in Sports Therapy. This combined background gives her a strong foundation in injury management, movement mechanics and structured rehabilitation across a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.

She has completed Levels 1 and 2 of the APPI (Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute) Clinical Pilates training, enabling her to integrate Pilates-based rehabilitation into treatment programmes. This approach is particularly effective for deep core activation, movement control, lower back pain and long-term injury prevention.

Corinna is also qualified in Western Medical Acupuncture through the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP), allowing her to incorporate evidence-based acupuncture techniques into her treatment plans. Medical acupuncture can be used alongside hands-on therapy and rehabilitation to help reduce pain, improve muscle function and support recovery from a variety of acute and persistent musculoskeletal conditions.

In addition, Corinna has completed the RESTORE Caesarean Scar Massage Specialist course, allowing her to support post-caesarean recovery through scar mobility work, tissue desensitisation and restoring abdominal wall function. She is passionate about helping women regain confidence, restore movement and rebuild strength following C-section surgery.

With extensive experience in sports therapy, pitch-side trauma management and rehabilitation planning, Corinna combines hands-on treatment with clear, progressive rehabilitation programmes tailored to each individual. Her elite gymnastics and national trampolining background gives her a highly trained eye for movement quality, control and technique.

Corinna takes a practical, empathetic and evidence-based approach, helping patients reduce pain, build strength, move confidently and return to the activities they enjoy.

Joe graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic, near Bournemouth, with a 1st Class ‘Master of Chiropractic’ degree. Having been taken to see a chiropractor when he was 11 years old for ankle-related issues, he saw first hand how effective the treatment he received had been, and subsequently decided to work towards the goal of one day becoming a chiropractor himself.

Several years later, Joe now has experience treating a wide range of different conditions throughout the body, and particularly enjoys helping patients with neck and back related pain. Joe strives to empower patients to take ownership over their care and rehabilitation, instilling a sense of partnership in his patients’ recovery. He employs a variety of different techniques based upon his patients’ preferences in order to assist them in achieving their goals. He has a strong focus on soft-tissue techniques and exercise rehabilitation, along with spinal manipulation where appropriate.

Joe is constantly expanding and developing his knowledge through regular training courses and seminars, as well as keeping up to date with the latest relevant research, in order to provide his patients with the most effective treatment techniques.

Joe is a keen sportsman, having played both football and rugby for several years growing up. He now enjoys competing in powerlifting, where he has had to overcome his own injuries and setbacks with the help of chiropractic care. As such, he also finds enjoyment in using his knowledge to help other athletes overcome injuries and return to their sport.

Tina has been a sports massage therapist and biomechanics coach for 12 years. She is a Personal Trainer (PT) who specialised in phase 4 cardiac rehabilitation for 10 years in association with the BACR. Tina’s motivation to do sports massage in 2007 was to help sporty, active children, (young cricketers at the time,) as Tina felt they needed care, guidance, tips and tools to be able to help look after their young, growing bodies to give them the best chance of reaching their full potential.

Tina loves people and helping them to just feel better, less stressed and with positive outcomes. The human body is an incredible but complicated machine. It fascinates her and she is therefore constantly learning, she loves it!

Dani qualified in 2017 having trained at the London School of Sports Massage and is also a qualified Personal Trainer, so she knows a thing or two about the human body. She also has experience of working in a sedentary office job, so she knows first-hand how Sports Massage can really help those tight hips, lower back, neck and shoulders caused by the day job!

Hannah holds a Master’s in Sports Therapy from the University of Gloucestershire and a Bachelor’s in Sport and Exercise Sciences from Cardiff Met. Her academic background gives her a strong foundation in how the body moves, how injuries happen, and—most importantly—how to help people recover well.

She’s worked pitch-side with rugby teams and brings that hands-on experience to the treatment room, offering effective sports massage therapy and injury management. A keen sportswoman herself, Hannah plays netball, runs, and enjoys climbing, so she understands exactly how frustrating niggles and injuries can be—especially when they get in the way of doing what you love.

Tanya is an experienced massage therapist with clients across Sussex.  Specialisms include aromatherapy massage, deep tissue, head & facial massage, hot stones, pregnancy and oncology massage.  Treatments are tailored to the individual patient.

‘I enjoy treating people from all walks of life.  It is rewarding when new people experience the benefits of massage for the first time and see what a big difference it can make to their fitness and wellbeing. It’s good to see that more people are investing in their own health and I have been treating a lot of my patients now for several years’.

With a keen interest in the science behind massage, it has been established that treatments are proven to boost the immune system, improve circulation, keep muscles and joints flexible and aid recovery.  Overall massage provides a myriad of physical and mental health benefits.

Having previously taught fitness classes to adults and children, in 2020 when lockdown hit Tanya turned to Pilates to keep fit at home and loved it!  Taking advice from her physio colleagues she decided to train to teach with APPI (the Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute) as this method would provide a clinical form of Pilates which would be beneficial for many patients.

Paramount in her decision to train was the proven results which Tanya saw for herself.  Having sustained a prolapsed cervical disc which left her with muscle weakness and spasms if she over trained, practising Pilates made a huge difference and demonstrated what excellent results can be achieved.

The APPI Method has taken the original 34 Joseph Pilates exercises and adapted them so they are suitable for patients working at a wide variety of levels, from people who are new to exercise to those who are accomplished athletes.  Pilates builds strength, stability, flexibility and a strong core that will help prevent back pain.  Everyday tasks become easier and it is an exercise form that can be practised at any age.  Tanya has also completed Pilates for Healthy Bones training as she has a special interest in Osteoporosis, how Pilates can help prevent it and how patients with lower bone density can still exercise safely.
